Emory Tone (1840-1866)

The Gazetteer_and_biographical_record_Genesee_County_NY list of Civil War veterans includes Emory Tone and John A. Tone (1836-1864) as privates in the 129th regiment, from Genesee County (p. 100, 103). The book says this about the 129th:

The Tone Book says:

b. 1840. Member of Company I, 8th N.Y. Heavy Artillery, wounded at battle of Cold Harbor; d. Aug 14, 1866.

So while he was wounded it seems he was not killed in battle. However the timing of his death means it's possible that his unspecified injuries were the cause of his death.
